What are eBooks?
eBooks are digital versions of print textbooks.
Availability of eBooks and the formats supported vary from publisher to publisher. Currently Wildfire Textbooks partners with Cengage, Lexis Nexis and John Wiley & Sons to provide eBook versions of some of their print books. A summary of each type of eBook is below - to find out more about the format of an invididual eBook, look on that product page.
What are the differences between eBooks and physical textbooks?
eBooks give you instant access to your required textbook information. Once purchased they are instantly downloadable – no waiting for delivery, no holdups with post, no shipping costs!
eBooks are generally cheaper than physical textbooks - at Wildfire Textbooks you will find eBooks are 10%-45% cheaper than physical textbooks.
eBooks are lighter, easier to transport and take up no space compared to physical textbooks.
eBooks have environmental benefits – they reduce the demand for the production and consumption of paper, and no waste is produced through using eBooks.
