Returns and Exchanges Policy

Before returning items please read this policy and then email as much information as possible to Wildfire Textbooks at orders@wildfiretextbooks.com.au .  The more information you provide to us from the list below the more quickly we can process your request.   We cannot process a return without this information. 

Please note: Do not return any books to Wildfire Textbook until you have received an email from us confirming we have received all the necessary information from the list below.

>> Tax invoice number

>> Product name and description

>> Reason for Return

>> If the item is faulty, indicate whether you would  like a shop credit, replacement or refund.  (Please note that all refunds will be reimbursed in the manner in which they were paid.)

Wildfire Textbooks offers a “No Questions Asked” 14 day return guarantee from the date of purchase so you can shop with confidence – return your saleable, undamaged book within 14 days from date of purchase, and we will issue a store credit for the purchase price of the book or replace the item with a different book of your choice, if available.  Please contact Wildfire Textbooks for a returns authorisation before returning your book.

Please note that no refunds will be given on shipping charges, with the exception of textbooks with misprints or missing chapters, incorrect or missing items, or books damaged in transit to you.  The “No Questions Asked” 14 day return guarantee does not apply to:

>> Items which have been used or altered in any way;

>> Textbooks which have had their shrink-wrapping removed;

>> eBooks;

>> Textbooks which have an eBook code as part of the purchase and are not shrinkwrapped or shrinkwrap has been removed; or

>> Items which are printed on demand or ordered by Wildfire Textbooks by request where we do not usually hold stock

When returning books to Wildfire Textbooks please ensure you use appropriate packaging so that the books are not damaged during transit.  To do this it is advisable to use plenty of bubble wrap and/or cardboard.  Wildfire Textbooks is unable to issue a full shop credit for the value of the book if the book is returned damaged.  Wildfire Textbooks is not obliged to issue a shop credit if books are not returned to the correct Wildfire address. For this reason we recommend customers should return their items via Australia Post Registered or Tracked Post or Australia Post Express Post.

 

Incorrect or Missing Item/s

Contact Wildfire Textbooks as soon as you believe you have received an incorrect or missing item in your order.  We guarantee a response to you within one working day.  If the item is missing we will ship the missing item back to you within one to two days.  If there is an incorrect item, we will ship the correct item to you immediately upon receipt by Wildfire Textbooks of the original incorrect item.  Both of these options incur no extra postal charge.

We will also reimburse to you the cost of returning the incorrect item to Wildfire Textbooks, upon provision of proof of shipping costs.  Just scan and email, or fax a copy of the postage receipt to Wildfire Textbooks for reimbursement of shipping costs.

 

Misprints or Missing Chapters

Contact Wildfire Textbooks as soon as you believe there is a misprint or missing chapter in your textbook.  We guarantee a response to you within one working day.  It is helpful to email us photos of the misprints or evidence of the missing chapter.  We will ship a replacement item to you immediately upon receipt by Wildfire Textbooks of the original textbook with misprints or missing chapter, or issue a shop credit, at your preference.

We will also reimburse to you the cost of returning the incorrect item to Wildfire Textbooks, upon provision of proof of shipping costs.   Just scan and email, or fax a copy of the postage receipt to Wildfire Textbooks for reimbursement of shipping costs.

 

When will I get my shop credit?

Upon Wildfire Textbook's receipt of your returned item we will receive, verify and process your item back into our system.  This takes approximately two days.  Once this is done we will email you with a shop credit which is valid for one year from date of issue. 

 

Changing or Cancelling an Order

 Contact Wildfire Textbooks immediately if you wish to cancel or change your order.  We will endeavour to halt that order, however once an order has been processed that order cannot be changed or cancelled.
